1. What you're buying
A weekly report on your own fantasy football team, emailed during the NFL regular season and your league's playoffs, built from the roster and scoring settings you give us plus public NFL data. We never connect to your league or ask for any login. A League Pass covers every member of one league who enters their roster individually; a member who never enters a roster gets no report, because we would be guessing at whose team it is.
2. What this is not
- Not a guarantee of any result. Projections are estimates. A number that says 64% is wrong about a third of the time — that is what the number means. Nothing we send promises you will win a matchup, a league, or anything else.
- Not betting or gambling advice. We publish no picks against spreads or props and no staking advice, and the service involves no wagering, prize pool, or money contest of any kind.
- Not professional advice of any kind — financial, legal, or otherwise.
- Not affiliated with the NFL, any team, any player, or any fantasy platform — Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, or wherever else you copy your roster from. We describe publicly available sports facts.
3. Price, renewal and cancelling
- The season pass is $39 USD; the League Pass is $99 USD; month to month is $14.99 USD. All prices are in US dollars, and you're charged when you subscribe. If your card is in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own fee.
- The season pass and League Pass renew once a year at the same price unless you cancel. The renewal falls on the anniversary of the day you subscribed, so if you join mid-season that is when it comes round. We email you between 15 and 45 days before any renewal, telling you the date and the amount, and cancelling takes one click from your billing page.
- Month to month billing runs only while the season runs. You are charged on the day you subscribe and on that date each month, and billing stops on its own when the season ends — you do not have to do anything. We do not charge monthly through the offseason, because we are not sending you anything during it. Your final month is the one the season ends in; if the stop date falls partway through a month you have already been billed for, that part-month is not refunded, so month to month costs more across a full season than the season pass does.
- You can cancel yourself at any time from your own billing page. We will never require you to contact us to stop a subscription, and we will never add steps to make leaving harder.
- Payments and cancellation are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's terms apply to the payment itself.
- We may change prices for future terms. A price change never applies to a term you have already paid for, and we'll tell you before a renewal at a new price. Founding subscribers renew at their founding price for as long as they stay continuously subscribed — the rate you joined at is the rate you renew at.
4. How to cancel — the actual steps
You cancel yourself, instantly, without us. Open your billing page — the same link is at the bottom of every report we send and in your welcome email. Enter the email you pay with, Stripe sends you a sign-in code, and you choose cancel. It takes about fifteen seconds, billing stops immediately, and nobody has to approve it. The reports stop on their own after that — we check who is still subscribed before every send.
Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access for the rest of the period you've already paid for, and you keep every report we already sent. If anything about cancelling doesn't work, email us (section 15) and we'll sort it out.
5. Refunds
Full refund, no questions asked, any time until your second weekly report's week kicks off — the first game of the week that report covers. Both reports are in your hands before you decide, whichever plan you bought and whenever in the season you join. A weekly report covers one week's games. The roster report you may get on the day you join isn't one; if your first email is that week's report instead, it counts as your first. If the season ends before your second weekly report, the window closes a week after your last one. And if a send of ours ever runs late, so your second weekly report reaches you after its week has kicked off, the window closes a week after it reaches you instead.
One refund per person (one per league for a League Pass). If you subscribe again after taking a refund, that purchase is final. You keep every report we already sent either way.
Outside that window, payments are non-refundable except where the law where you live says otherwise. A refund is the only remedy we offer if you're unhappy with the service, and it is capped at what you actually paid.
6. How you may use the reports
Your subscription is for you and your team. You're welcome to quote a number in your league chat, argue with us in public, and screenshot our misses — that's the point of the receipts. You may not forward the full report to your whole league in place of them subscribing, republish it as your own, resell it, or feed it into another product or service you operate. If you want your whole league covered, that's what the League Pass is for.
We can suspend or end a subscription that breaks this, and we'll refund the unused part of the term if we do.
7. When things break
The service is provided as is and as available. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any number in it is right — and to the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Two specific risks worth naming honestly, because they are real:
- We depend on public NFL data. Our reports are built from openly licensed public NFL data releases. If those releases change, break, or stop, or a week's data never lands, we may be unable to produce complete reports. That is outside our control.
- We depend on the season happening. If the NFL season is shortened, delayed, or cancelled, or something else beyond our reasonable control prevents delivery (outages, natural disaster, war, government action), we're not liable for the interruption.
If we can't deliver for a stretch of a season you've paid for, tell us and we'll refund a fair share of that term. We may also change, pause, or discontinue the service; if we discontinue it mid-term, we refund the unused part.
8. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost league winnings, lost entry fees, lost bets, lost opportunities, or damage to your standing or reputation — whether or not we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability to you, for any and all claims, is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. For most people that is $39.
Some places don't allow some of these exclusions or limits. Where that's true, they don't apply to you, and the rest of this section still stands. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing here takes away consumer rights you have where you live.
9. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the decisions you make with your team — starting, sitting, bidding, trading, and everything else. You're also responsible for keeping the roster you give us current (the report describes the roster we have) and for how you use the reports in your league: they're written for you, not for publication.
If you break these terms and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of dealing with it.
10. Privacy
We collect the minimum — your email, the roster you entered, and your league's scoring settings — never a password, never your card, and we never connect to your league account. What we keep, who else sees it, how long we hold it and how to have it deleted are set out in full in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Age
You must be 18 or older to subscribe. This is a paid analysis newsletter for season-long fantasy football; it involves no wagering and no prizes.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll email subscribers before it takes effect. Continuing to subscribe after that means you accept the update; if you'd rather not, cancel and — if the change lands mid-term — ask us for a refund of the unused part.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there. If you're a consumer elsewhere, this doesn't remove protections you have under the law where you live.
14. The rest
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once doesn't waive it later. These terms, plus the pricing shown at checkout, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
15. Who runs this
Beat Your League is an independent solo project. Contact: hello@beatyourleague.com — for questions, refunds, deletion requests, or anything that looks wrong on the ledger. Billing itself is handled by Stripe, and cancellation is self-serve from your billing page (section 4).
